DR & Business Continuity Specialist

Own disaster recovery design, testing, and documentation for client engagements out of our Cairo office. You will work across financial services, retail, and manufacturing clients in Egypt and the wider region — designing DR strategies, validating failover procedures, and producing the audit evidence pack.

The role is a balance of architecture work and hands-on implementation. Frequent collaboration with our Riyadh and Muscat teams on multi-country engagements.

• Design DR strategies covering RPO/RTO targets, replication, and recovery runbooks
• Lead failover and failback validation exercises end-to-end
• Produce auditor-ready evidence packs aligned to client regulatory frameworks
• Work with vendor partners (Veeam, Zerto, cloud-native DR services)
• Mentor junior engineers on BCP/DR fundamentals
• Support pre-sales conversations with clients evaluating DR posture

• 4+ years in DR / BCP / infrastructure resilience roles
• Hands-on with at least one major DR tooling (Veeam, Zerto, AWS DRS, Azure Site Recovery)
• Experience with at least one DR audit or regulator submission
• Strong documentation skills — runbooks, evidence packs, board reports
• Fluent English; Arabic a plus
